DistroShift is a staff management platform for Irish businesses, providing tools for roster management, leave, attendance, staff records, broadcasts, and — where applicable — tip distribution in compliance with the Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 (“the Act”). The platform serves businesses across a range of sectors including hospitality, pharmacy, golf, spa, hair and beauty, and others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without notice.
Your use of DistroShift is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You confirm that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
As a business using DistroShift to process staff personal data, you act as the data controller and DistroShift acts as your data processor under GDPR. Our full Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is accepted digitally at account creation and governs how we process staff personal data on your behalf, including sub-processors, security measures, breach notification, and deletion procedures.
All software, design, content, and documentation within the DistroShift platform is owned by or licensed to DistroShift. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes only. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of DistroShift at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any changes that materially affect your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, DistroShift’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to DistroShift in the 12 months preceding the claim.
DistroShift is not liable for: indirect or consequential loss; loss of profits or revenue; fines or penalties imposed by the WRC, the Data Protection Commission, or any regulatory body; or loss arising from inaccurate data entered by you or your staff.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Company → Danger Zone. Deletion is a soft delete — your data remains recoverable for 30 days, after which it is permanently purged. We strongly recommend exporting your compliance records before deleting, as Irish employment law requires you to retain payroll and working-time records for 3–6 years regardless of platform. We may terminate your account for material breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of DistroShift after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
